Orientation and Victorfest

These two programs are designed to help students and families get to know NKU on a deeper level. You will meet with faculty and staff, get to know some of your new classmates, as well as current students; learn about university resources; and register for your fall classes. You will leave Orientation and Victorfest with a better understanding of what life will be like as a Norse!

  1. ORIENTATION is where your NKU journey officially begins! Programs will take place in May, June, or July and registration is available on a first come, first served basis. Apart from opportunities to make friends and learn more about student organizations, academic advising will also take place during your Orientation experience!
  2. VICTORFEST is an extended experience right before classes begin in August. Freshman will finish their orientation experience, meet even more fellow students, and will be able to learn about or join student organizations! There will also be fun and exciting events that are also a part of Victorfest that freshman can go to once the school year starts if they want.

Both Orientation AND VictorFest are mandatory for all incoming freshmen.
